I bought tickets at Christmas to see Michael McIntyre, a hilarious British comedian, in Seattle on March 26.
I picked Vic up at 2:00pm and we headed around the corner to the ferry terminal.
It was a beautiful day - the ferry was pretty crowded because it was Opening Day for the Seattle Mariners that evening
We were near the front of the ferry, and it's a great view
An hour later, the city skyline was before us
We had Marriott points from our London trip, so we checked into the Sheraton, right around the corner from the theatre
We had dinner reservations at Alder & Ash Bar & Grill, which could be accessed from inside the hotel
Pre-dinner cocktails and a little basketball
We started with the Sample Trio
Crushed Avocado, Smoked Salmon Dip, and Green Garbanzo Hummus
A selection of dippers
Mushroom Risotto for dinner for me
An Ahi Poke Bowl for Vic
Getting ready to head into the show
The next morning, we headed to Le Panier, our favorite French bakery, for breakfast - I snapped this quick shot of Mount Rainer with the stadiums in front (Lumen Field, home to the Seattle Seahawks, and T-Mobile Park, home of the Mariners)
Coffee and croissants
Snapped a quick photo at the stoplight of the Seattle Aquarium - this will probably be our next Seattle outing and perhaps we'll hop on the Seattle Great Wheel there in the background
Homeward bound, those are the Olympic Mountains in the distance
Such a fun mini-break!

That sounds like such a fun little getaway!
