Having served his country faithfully for 30+ years, Vic will retire from the Navy on October 1, 2024. His retirement orders came yesterday so it's OFFICIAL.
To celebrate the end of his Navy career and the start of a new chapter, I bought Vic a new computer. He's taking an online certification course and tweaking his resume for a couple of upcoming opportunities so I thought he would enjoy the bigger screen. The reference to Match.com came from a couple at our church. They are both over 80, have been married 3 years, and met on Match.com!
I have to say that the new computer purchase was a little selfish, too. I'm all about symmetry and now our desks and desktops will match!

I love the new computer and the story about the 80 year old couple that met. How sweet! I love stories like that, how older people find companions to spend the rest of their days with.
