Making this a very short post today since I've got a mega-project that has to be done today. Day Nine is Walls - how to hide cords and hang things without making nail holes.
In a word (or two), Command Hooks! Garland hides a multitude of cord sins as well.
Hi stop in from Dackel and I'm thinking of doing hot pad holder for Christmas.

I'm afraid of the glue on the back of the command hooks!
ReplyDeleteI've never had any problem and I've used them on a variety of surfaces - painted walls and painted wood. It's not really a glue, it's more like a rubber cement-type substance and when you pull down on it to release the hook base from the wall, it allows air to go between the hook and the surface and it comes right off. You can buy replacement adhesive backs so the hooks are reusable. Maybe give them a try on a spot that you can't easily see.
