Christmas in July - Day One

What better way to kick off Christmas in July 2016 than with a lovely new Christmas purchase?  You may remember that I won a $100 gift certificate at our local Girls' Night Out event last month.  I had to spend the entire amount at one store and I chose the Scandinavian gift shop.  I have had my eye on these beauties for some time - every time the commuter bus went through town last fall/winter, I saw them glowing in the windows of all of the shops.  They are called candle bridges.

I am really looking forward to having them as a part of our Christmas decorations this year, perhaps in the window, or maybe even on our Christmas table.
