I like European chocolate better than American as well (since you didn´t list American, I am assuming you prefer European). It´s kind of funny that you don´t like Doritos since they are junk food. I´m not sure if there is a junk food that I dislike... Have a great Monday!
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely prefer European chocolate. I like junk food - potato chips, tortilla chips, pretzels - it's just Doritos I don't like, I think they smell weird!
DeleteGyoza and shumai i have never had before.
ReplyDeleteOh I just love Lindts! I really enjoy most seafood too (as long as it's cooked-- I just can not eat it raw).
ReplyDeleteI love seafood too. And Belgian chocolate! My hubs used to go to Belgium at least once a month for work and would always bring me chocolates. I miss that part of him traveling! I live in the south and fried okra is it's own food group here. I love it fried and in gumbo and also sometimes roast it with olive oil. I know some people can't handle the texture. I also love it pickled as a garnish in a bloody mary. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI love European chocolates, especially Belgian since I spent a month in Belgium 10 years ago. I like fried okra, but I am not a fan of any boiled vegetable either. Have a good evening!
ReplyDeleteI grew up with fresh seafood right out of the gulf, so I love all seafood, but am pretty snobbish about it having to be fresh. And ANY kind of dumpling, ANY nationality, ANY time, ANY where! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree on all of your favorites and some of your least faves! I've never had shumai, though; is it similar to sushi? I feel like I would enjoy that. This was a fun read, so thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat dipping sauce sounds so good. Ahh! On my favourites it was a toss up between bacon or fried egg sandwich and the egg won. I am glad you have found something almost like English bacon.
ReplyDeleteLiver made it onto my least favourites too. It's just not nice and how did I not think of Doritos, my girls love them but they are awful, just like eating cardboard and they smell so bad.
I agree -- overboiled vegetables are yucky. But I do love a good Dorito -- just not all the weird flavours!
ReplyDeleteOh I love seafood too. I do like Doritos...and sometimes I buy them for the kids and can't help myself. Thanks for linking up with us.
