Moving into Week Two - it's Advent calendars for kids that involve food. Our favorite has to be the open the door-style calendar that features little chocolates behind each door. The military commissaries always have a large German section at the holidays so I usually buy the Windel brand there.
And if I'm in a splurging mode, I'll order a Cadbury calendar from one of the British food stores online. Cadbury's is so good!

ReplyDeleteWhen our kids were little we would always get the German Advent calendars with the chocolates behind the doors. Sweet memories!
ReplyDeleteUsed to buy the chocolate ones but then I made an advent calendar of pouches and would add small things (toys, etc...) to it.
